Tonttu has arrived with the hotdish!  Time to celebrate.  A great gift for the cook; makes a great kitchen holiday decor accent.

Tonttu's are Finnish gnome's that are similar to Tomtar.  Gnomes in Sweden, are called Tomtar.   Originating in Nordic folklore, Tomtar were seen as protectors of farms, usually keeping busy with their watch at night.
