Bake quick breads and traditional Scandinavian almond cakes in this classic formed aluminum ribbed pan. Nordic Ware's Northern Lights Bakeware is inspired by the beautiful aurora borealis in the night skies and infuses a pop of color that bakers are seeking with the best baking properties of aluminum.  The beautiful exterior color is paired with a premium nonstick interior for easy release and cleaning. Northern Lights pans are lighter than Nordic Ware's heavy cast aluminum pans, but they are built to last. They are durable, economically priced performers!

Aluminum

1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it may shorten the life of the nonstick coating on your pan.
3. Before each use, brush with solid vegetable shortening and dust with flour or cocoa, or use baking spray with flour in it.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

An inspirational American success story, Nordic Ware was founded in 1946 by a determined gal, Dotty, and her resourceful husband Dave, who was newly back from WWII. With $500 in their pockets, a few good ideas and a desire to start a business of their own, a humble kitchenware company was born in the basement of their home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In the beginning, Nordic Ware’s product line was only a handful of items, most of which were specialty Scandinavian cookware products—the Rosette iron, Krumkake iron, Platte Panne pan, and the Ebelskiver pan.

Nordic Ware remains family owned and is still based in Minneapolis where they still proudly manufacture the vast majority of their products.
