Karin Mannerstål is a versatile designer who has worked in many different materials and media. She has an extra great love for patterns that radiate energy.

Karin studied advertising at the Beckman School of Design and is a well-know and popular face in Swedish television (she was one of the hosts of “Äntligen hemma”).

Karin was born in Finspång and lives in Stockholm, Sweden.

Klippan has been a family run Swedish business since 1879; based in Klippan, Sweden in Skåne County in Southern Sweden.

Klippan is known for its high quality in both design and usage of pure fibers, their philosophy is to combine Swedish design with their long tradition of textile knowledge. Klippan only uses natural material in their products and tries to use eco-material as much as possible. Klippan is one of very few producers of this kind remaining in Europe.

Everything started on a modest scale on Järnvägsgatan in Klippan, Sweden in 1879

To this day, the family business Klippan Yllefabrik AB remains at the same address in Klippan, Scania. Run today by the fourth and fifth generation.
