Ekelund has chosen to keep their production and weaving mill in Horred, Sweden. This allows them to maintain full control over the entire manufacturing process, reduce transport emissions, and tailor production to avoid overproduction.

100% natural fibers are used by Ekelund. This means GOTS Certified. cotton (the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers) and linen from the finest flax in the world grown in Belgium and France.

Machine wash at 60°C. Wash with similar colors and avoid using fabric softener. Towels should not be tumble dried. Shake the towel thoroughly after washing and hang it up to dry. For best results, lightly iron the towel while it is slightly damp, in the lengthwise direction. For even better results, shape the towel immediately after shaking it out. All Ekelund products are delivered with an allowance for shrinkage.
