Lovi Elf brushes his beard, presses the hat on his head and is ready for the day’s work. There is so much to do. This little elf sits comfortably on the mantel or rests his feet on the bookshelf. In the children’s room, it watches the small residents play.
At ASI we would say Elf is actually Tomte. Originating in Nordic folklore, Tomtar were seen as protectors of farms, usually keeping busy with their watch at night. Elf is the perfect addition to your home, and would love to be sent as a gift to someone special in your life.
Assemble the elf according to the instructions on the package. Put his feet in place, put on a coat and press the hat on his head.

Looking for an alternative to plastic from which to design something for her Christmas tree, founder Anne Paso designed the first version of Lovi in 2001. Today Lovi is a small family business making ecological and sustainable products in Northern Finland. True to the inventiveness and sauna mindset of Finnish culture, the first Lovi products were finished on the sauna benches where Anne & ; Mikko Paso lived.
Ecological and functional production and materials are the basis of Lovi's operations at their small factory close to nature in Jääli, Finland.
True to Anne's original intent, Lovi remains committed to the ethos of using eco-friendly, no plastic materials.
