Kaja Hengstenberg is the owner of Krümel, a small cookie shop in Stockholm, which now has two sites in the city. She has previously worked as a recipe developer, ran supper clubs and over the years has contributed to numerous publications.
Kaja moved to Stockholm in August 2019, after quitting her public affairs job in Brussels. She has always been a passionate baker and food creative, and so turned her passion into a job. Kaja started giving online and in person cooking classes, and then her occasional work as a food journalist and recipe developer became a full-time activity. She also did an internship at Skeppsbro Bageri, one of her favorite Stockholm bakeries, and later launched her own sourdough bread baking classes.
