The building pictured in this poster, the City Hall of Stockholm, is one of the most famous buildings in Stockholm. If you’ve ever watched the prestigious Nobel banquet on TV, you’ve seen this establishment. First they dine in the Blue Hall (Blå Hallen) and from there they move on to the Golden Hall, where the dancing take places.
Here is a few important numbers from the City Hall: The tower is 106 meter tall. The building is made out of 8 million bricks, and in the Golden Hall there are no less tan 18 million pieces of gold mosaic tiles. The building was finished in 1923, and the design of this tray is from a poster made in 1932.
