Merchant and Mills was founded in 2010 by Carolyn Denham and Roderick Field with a purpose of distinguishing sewing as a craft. Carolyn has a degree in Fashion design and has worked in New York, Italy and London for various fashion brands. Roderick is a respected photographer with works in the National Portrait Gallery.
