The Futhark design of this blanket is inspired by Öjbro Vantfabrik's cultural heritage.  With help from the Futhark (rune alphabet) Öjbro Vantfabrik created their own runic inscription "we honor our cultural heritage" which they then made into a pattern with a classical color scheme.

Öjbro Vantfabrik blankets are a timeless treasure and make a versatile year-round investment, and even better heirloom gift.

Merino wool is a great year-round blanket option! The benefits include...&
-Temperature control: Merino wool fibers trap air to create warmth in the winter, AND when it is hot outside the wool stores moisture as your body warms ~ cooling you down as the moisture evaporates.
-No itch and scratch: Merino wool fibers are short, so they do not break (which is the leading cause of that itchy scratchy feeling you've had in days of yore).
-Merino wool is antibacterial in itself without treatment, so you do not need to wash them as often, the best washing advice is to hang the blanket on airing overnight if necessary.
