Kayla Ann, a long time teaching artist at ASI who is now based in Seattle. She weaves her Nordic heritage and love of vintage textiles into original designs that speak to nature lovers and nostalgic dreamers alike. Her work is immersed in the magic of the natural world. Organic motifs often make an appearance in her one-of-a-kind prints, bringing nature into the everyday through intentional product design.

In addition to her design practice, Kayla teaches Nordic handcrafts, focusing on fiber arts such as felting and embroidery, as well as wire art (luffarslöjd) and kolrosing (etching in wood).
