Bring the beauty of nature into your home with the William Morris Quince Trinket Dish.  Great for holding jewelry, spoons in the kitchen, keys, anything you see fit!

One of William Morris’s most popular repeating designs for textiles, Quince takes as its subject the thrushes that Morris found stealing fruit in his kitchen garden of his countryside home, Kelmscott Manor, in Oxfordshire.

William Morris is an important figure in the Arts and Crafts Movement that was popular from between 1880-1920.  His beautiful designs are popular the world over.  Morris' belief in beautiful and functional objects in the home parallels a similar viewpoint shared with many Scandinavian designers.  Additionally, Morris, as with many Scandinavians, was inspired by nature creating motifs with intricate detailing and flowing forms.
