When Moomintroll finds a tiny dragon, he puts it in a jar to keep as a pet. Moomintroll is so excited, but soon realizes the little dragon needs to be free. When free, the dragon seems to prefer to be with Snufkin and this breaks Moomintroll’s heart . . . and Snufkin is not so pleased to have this new friend around him all the time. A wonderful story about friendships and what they mean. Perfect shared reading.
This stunning picture book is a newly-illustrated retelling of Tove Jansson's classic Moomin short story The Last Dragon, originally published in Tales from Moominvalley sixty years ago and now reinterpreted for a new generation of Moomin fans.
