This folk inspired Nordic Gnome (or Tomte as we say at ASI) is the perfect project for friends of ASI, and/or gifting to friends of ASI or friends-to-be of ASI!
Gnomes in Sweden, are called Tomtar. Originating in Nordic folklore, Tomtar were seen as protectors of farms, usually keeping busy with their watch at night.
Flexible difficulty - keep it simple by using the most basic back stitch throughout, or increase the challenge with chain stitches, French knots, or more as a modern embroidery sampler.
