About Marabou:

Marabou is one of Sweden's most beloved brands.  Founded by a Norwegian and established outside of Stockholm in 1916, chocolate went from being a luxury item to a popular treat after the advent of assembly lines helped to lower prices.  Marabou later built a factory in Upplands Väsby, which still exists today.
