We love the idea of these earrings as a very distilled and modernized version of the more traditional and ornate bunad jewelry. So simple, you can wear them with jeans on the daily, so classy, you can wear them at your wedding or special event.
An extra special gift you will always be remembered for.

Master goldsmith Leif Johannessen taught at Bergen School of Crafts in Norway. In 1940, Leif and his wife, Betzy, moved to Voss ~ where Sylvsmidja is based still today. They stamped all the jewelry on the back with a J shaped like a drinking horn, so that everyone who bought it could be sure that they owned a genuine Sylvsmidja piece of jewelry.
Today, Sylvsmidja in Voss has 65 employees and is Norway's leading producer of bunad silver. Sylvsmidja's skilled silversmiths and goldsmiths have extensive experience and extensive knowledge of sterling silver.
