Klippan has been a family run Swedish business since 1879; based in Klippan, Sweden in Skåne County in Southern Sweden.
Klippan is known for its high quality in both design and usage of pure fibers, their philosophy is to combine Swedish design with their long tradition of textile knowledge. Klippan only uses natural material in their products and tries to use eco-material as much as possible. Klippan is one of very few producers of this kind remaining in Europe.
Bitte Stenström grew up on the island Öland, where she has returned. Bitte was educated at the Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Designs in Stockholm Bitte is inspired by metropolitan environments and details in nature. She creates both simple and more elaborate patterns for wallpaper and interior textiles. Bitte spends a lot of time developing her ideas and sketches designs every day.
