Keep your castle memories at home with you to revisit again, and again with this beautiful book about the historic Turnblad Mansion [former home to Swedish immigrants Swan Turnblad and his wife Christina (and their daughter Lillian)].

This keepsake book is filled with historic and modern photography, you’ll see the Turnblad Castle as it was when it was first built and how it looks today.

The Turnblad Mansion was designed by architects Christopher Boehme and Victor Cordella and inspired by The Turnblad family’s worldly travels.  Architectural features of note include the French Chateauesque style exterior, handcarved wood interiors (particularly the great room with its stunning fireplace feature), and the 11 decorative tile stoves (kakelugn) imported from Sweden.

Our mission is to be a safe and welcoming gathering place for people of diverse heritages to hear and honor each other's experiences, stories and traditions ~ welcome to our home!
