The Oxeye Daisy ('Prästkrage' in Swedish) is the iconic flower of Skåne, which is the southernmost Swedish province of Sweden known for its farm fields covered with Summer flowers, stunning coastal areas, forests, and lakes.  The Prästkrage may most be associated with Midsummer ('Midsommar') head crown and Maypole ('Midsommarstång') decorations.  So it is no wonder we love using this small but mighty Swedish Dishcloths with a whimsical daisy design into our everyday!  We also think it is pretty great that we can help out our planet...

Sweden was the first country (in the entire world) to pass an environmental protection act (1967), and is well known for seeking creative solutions to be a leader in regards to well-being (including that of the climate and environment).

So it makes sense that the beautiful designs of Swedish Dishcloths disguise the hard working and environmental consciousness behind them.
