In the forest you can always listen to birdsong, from the many birds that live and stay in the forest. In old trees there are good nesting opportunities for owls, woodpeckers, and numbers of other birds.

This set of card illustrates different birds from the forest and motifs illustrated by the Norwegian-born Danish ornithologist Jon Fjeldså.

Based in Denmark, Søren and Ulla Koustrup started the publishing house Koustrup & Co. to pass on knowledge about plants, animals, gastronomy and organic suistaining. With backgrounds in biology and publishing and an interest in nature and environment it seemed obvious. Sustainability and the environment is important to the family run business.
