The Norway Spruce is the iconic 'flower' of Medelpad, which is a province in the northeast coast of Sweden where forestry has long been a main industry.  The Norway Spruce is most associated with Christmas and naturally decorated with pine cones ('kott' in Swedish).

As a working mother with limited time, Minnesotan Lisa Rydin Erickson began her artistic career drawing on her iPad on her bus commute to work; within a year she had created hundreds of drawings. Lisa is inspired by the beauty of nature, and in particular the cards available at the ASI Retail Store are inspired by the flora of the provinces of Sweden.
