The Violet (also known as Wild Pansy, Heartsease, and in Swedish ~ 'Styvmorsviol') is the provincial flower of Ångermanland, a Swedish province in northeastern Sweden noted for its rocky mountainous archipelago and river fjords.

As a working mother with limited time, Minnesotan Lisa Rydin Erickson began her artistic career drawing on her iPad on her bus commute to work; within a year she had created hundreds of drawings.
