Did you know? Sweden was the first country (in the entire world) to pass an environmental protection act (1967), and is well known for seeking creative solutions to be a leader in regards to well-being (including that of the climate and environment).

Key attributes:

-Super absorbent (15 times their weight in liquid).
Reusable.

-Compostable/Biodegradable. Nothing lasts forever (at least that should be the goal), and neither do Swedish Dishcloths. Simply add them to your compost when they have completed their use cycle.
-Worth the price! Great cost-per-use ratio.

All Natural. 70% cellulose/30% cotton.

Washable. (In your washing machine or dishwasher).

Bengt & Lotta for Klippan.

Bengt Lindberg and Lotta Glave met in Stockholm at Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts, Design) where they were studying graphic art and illustration. Their playful Swedish inspired designs originally started with a cast iron candleholder and due to their popularity soon grew to an assortment of textiles and home accessories.

Klippan has been a family run Swedish business since 1879; based in Klippan, Sweden in Skåne County in Southern Sweden.

Klippan is known for its high quality in both design and usage of pure fibers, their philosophy is to combine Swedish design with their long tradition of textile knowledge. Klippan only uses natural material in their products and tries to use eco-material as much as possible. Klippan is one of very few producers of this kind remaining in Europe.
