Iittala's Hedgehog design comes from designer Klaus Haapaniemis and his enchanting world of whimsy.   The Hedgehog design is part of a series by Iittala called Siimes ~ Meaning Shade in Finnish, it refers to the place our forest friends stop to rest from the sun.  With Siimes every day is an occasion worthy of a setting that tells a special story.
